The Ichthyosaur is a marine reptile that lived in the Jurassic seas nearly 185 million years ago. 

I had the privilege of having the actual fossil at my disposal, which has since been sold at a Sotheby’s auction.

I wanted to make a unique reconstruction, an alchemy of fluidity, purity and transparency. 
Infused with light, the Ichthyosaur shines again, evolving serenely in warm waters, like a rebirth.
